The Serve Up Success Scholarship Fund is dedicated to helping aspiring women’s volleyball players pursue their educational and athletic goals without financial barriers. By supporting student-athletes, this fund fosters opportunities for growth, achievement, and success at the next level.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Serve Up Success Fund, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Sport: Women’s volleyball
Residency: Outside the state of California
Financial Need: Able to demonstrate strong financial need
Academic Standing: A minimum 2.8 GPA is preferred
Recruitment Status: Actively recruited by and/or in communication with a coach at a California College or University
Scholarships will be prioritized for first-year college students. Depending of funding, returning applicants may apply, but are not guaranteed an additional scholarship award. Returning applicants are encouraged to establish CA state residency to access free or reduced tuition instead. Steps to establish residency can be found here.
This is a need based scholarship, not an academic scholarship. We want to see a GPA that keeps students playing and off academic probation, but academic performance is not the most important criteria for scholarship selection. We have designed our rubric to reflect that.
